The wine has a beautiful, radiant colour with glittering highlights. The highly expressive and succulent nose gives an initial glimpse of intense, crisp, red berry fruit, especially redcurrant and raspberry, then opens up with airing to reveal oaky, slightly vanilla notes with a hint of almond. From a supple and generous attack, the elegant, creamy tannins suggest a satin texture. The initial fruit flavours return on a pleasant finish which leaves an impression of charm and succulence.
