Bacchus's Head Bacchus’s head The label of Maison Louis Jadot’s wines are characterised by the instantly recognisable image of Bacchus’s head, an image that has become, in many ways, the signature of the house and a symbol of its identity, whatever is in the bottle.
About Puligny-Montrachet The vineyards are centred around Puligny and a part of the Blagny hamlet, on a gentle, east facing slope, about 230 to 390 m above sea level. The stoney clay and chalk soil, drains well and warms through easily. Chardonnay is the only grape variety used for the white wines.
