Tasting note |
Sweet, salty, floral airs. Buzzy, spiced palate based on vibrant Grenache. Character, energy and length in the glass. By Decanter, Feb 2017.
Blue fruits and flowers on the nose. The freshness and open-knit structure make a compelling combination of generously fleshy and flavorsome style. Plums and blackberries throughout. By James Suckling, Aug 2017.
Coming all from clay and pebbly soils located to the north of Châteauneuf du Pape, the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Terre d'Argile is a supple, elegant example of this cuvée. Black cherries, garrigue, dried herbs, and licorice give way to a medium-bodied, layered, silky red that's loaded with charm. By Jeb Dunnuck, Oct 2017.
The 2015 Cotes du Rhone Villages Terre d'Argile comes from a parcel of vines near Beaucastel's Coudoulet. A blend of one-fourth each Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan, it's a ripe, supple, medium to full-bodied wine full of cherries and chocolate, with hints of black tea on the finish. By Wine Advocate, Oct 2017. |
