The “father of Japanese wine”, “Zenbei Kawakami”, developed this distinctive Japanese red-wine grape in 1927. Accentuating the individuality of these grapes, which have a soft and gentle flavor and are very low in tannins, this wine is a well-balanced blend of wine whose complex aromas and flavors are brought out through barrel aging, and wine whose charming fruitiness is brought out through tank aging.
