Tasting note |
There is noticeable wood toast along with a touch of menthol on the spicy nose that is composed of plum, violet, earth and various dark berry fruit elements. The supple and delicious middle weight flavors possess good delineation and a really lovely texture before terminating in a solidly persistent finish. The wood is a bit annoying and while it's by no means dominant, it's not subtle either. As to drinkability, this is clearly still on the way up but should drink well a bit earlier than I originally predicted. Try from 2021+. By Allen Meadows @ Burghound, Jan 2015. |
