Tasting note |
Located on a gravely hill, betweensea and river, enjoying a unique micro climate, the 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 52% Merlot are better raised using traditional methods. The result is a well balanced wine with an intense colour and a highly expressive nose of raspberryand redcurrant. Charming and ample on the palate with notes of vanilla. Good balanceand lots of harmony. A delicious wine to try with a chocolate fondant. Before enjoying this wine, we recommend to open the bottle a few hours in advance at room temperature allowing its complex bouquet to express itself fuly. By the back label of bottle.
With black currant fruits dominant, this is an inherently fruity wine. The juicy feel makes the wine seem light, not yet quite connecting between fruit and a very dry tannic texture. By Roger Voss @ Wine Enthusiast, Jun 2014. |
