Tasting note |
This estate, run on biodynamic principles, has made a rich wine with density and intense, pure black-currant fruits. It has a firm backbone of tannins along with perfumed minerality from the Cabernet Franc in the blend. Drink this wine from 2024. By Roger Voss @ Wine Enthusiast, Sep 2018.
Deep colour. Intense dark chocolate, dark plum cedar aromas and flavours. Well concentrated dark chocolate, dark plum fruit, fine slinky plentiful tannins and underlying sweet much oak. Attractive chinotto. spicy notes at the finish. Reaaly nice wine. By Andrew Caillard MW @ Tastingbook.
Offers a dense, fleshy feel, with fig and boysenberry compote notes rumbling along, inlaid with graphite and tar accents. Defined and energetic, with notes of anise and ganache adding range through the finish. Tilts toward power rather than finesse in the end. By James Molesworth @ Wine Spectator.
