1994 is a slightly austere vintage of Pavillon Blanc, which as yet has not developed the finesse of the 1993, even though the weather conditions for the vintage were no less good. Should it be enjoyed as of now? We think it would be preferable to wait two or three years more to give it the chance to open up more and reveal the finesse it concealed at the time it was bottled.
