Tasting note |
The 1985 Grand-Puy-Ducasse is a textbook Pauillac, not a blockbuster in any manner, but a cedary, spicy, fragrant wine with fine depth, a supple texture, some fatness and flesh, as well as a smooth, graceful finish. By Robert Parker, Jan 1998.
Very pretty plum, cherry and cedar flavors in a sleek, elegant, well define ins are supple and in proportion. By Wine Spectator, Feb 1988. |
