Tasting note |
The dry white wine from the staff at Mouton Rothschild is generally a blend of two-thirds Sauvignon Blanc and the rest Semillon, with usually one percent or so of Muscadelle added in the blend. This is an increasingly intriguing wine, and the 2006 exhibits plenty of honeysuckle, orange skin, and fig-like notes, with crisp, zesty acidity and a medium-bodied, fresh finish. |
