Pale straw, with a very fine and steady bead. Complex autolytic aromas of honey, almond and toast add to the fruit aromas dominated by the Chardonnay characters of citrus and some passion fruit. The flavours on the palate show more of the Pinot characters of strawberry and biscuit, and the palate is full-flavoured and soft, but kept quite dry to maintain balance and delicacy, whilst the mousse is persistent and mouth-filling. |
