Powerful nose dominated by blackiberry, plum and black cherry, withy savoury oak aromas balancing the fruit. The palate has the dark fruit character evident on the nose, with savoury earth and spice flavours adding a more complex dimension. Weighty and generous, with substantial, but fine grained tannins on the finish. Will cellar well in the medium term. |
