At Paxton, we have been growing grapes in McLaren Vale for over 30 years. Tge grapes for this shiraz are grown using the Paxton farming program that focuses on soil health and bio-diversity. The fruit characters are those of a healthy vineyard. Paxton Shiraz is a famous for its intense yet elegant style and the 05 is no exception. Grapes from the renowned Pxton JOnes Blopck are hand pruned and aged in selected oak barrels. As always, no comers cut.
A rich palate of plums, chocolate and layers of savoury spice complexity. A long, focused palate of balanced fruit and tannin. Bu James Halliday. |
