Situated at the bottom of the slope, limestone sub-soil comprised of marl and clay on the top.Alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels on fine lees for 10 to 12 months. Malolactic fermentation, joining if necessary, Kieselghur filtration, bottling. Scents of pear and grapefruit. Good acidity, freshness and roundness in the mouth.
The lovely, well-made 2015 vintage is the most approachable wine from the estate. A classic Chardonnay displaying the elegance typical of its Burgundian terroir. The ample, rounded palate is seductive in its charm and approachability. White Burgundy lovers won’t be disappointed. |
