Le Petit Haut Lafitte Red 2008 has a vibrant dark ruby red colour. The nose shows opened, elegant and expressive notes of spices (liquorice, clove), block fruits (Itxassou cherry) and empyreumatic notes (silex, carbon lead). The mouth is powerful and balanced. The in-mouth attack is structured with a beautiful tannin thread, then the concentration and the roundness give to the wine its length. We find in this wine the wonderful signature of the Cabernet Sauvignon from Smith Haut Lafitte terroir with its typical aromatic elegance. Le Petit Haut Lafitte Red 2008 is a structured, concentrated and long wine that you will enjoy within 3 to 5 years.
