Whyte & Mackay is distingusihed from other Blended Scotch Whiskies by the secret of its final maturation. Our Master Blender selects only the finest aged single malts and marries them together to form a lasting union. This 'first marriage' as it is known, lasts for several months. Aged grain whiskies are then blended with the malts and allowed to marry for a second time in sherry casks. This second maturation is the secret to our smooth, mellow flavour. No one else takes such trouble. That's why for over 100 years, Whyte & Mackay has always been SPECIAL. |
